I decided to become an artist in 1988 after I finished a brief enlistment in the air force. I had always been creative, but needed a few years of intensive work to learn the basics of making 3D objects on a 2D surface, something that most people can learn with time.

It took me a long time, it's twenty years later in fact, but now I am now an artist that can deliver a consistent level of quality, taking that vision in my mind and making it into something others can see without compromising.

Along the way I picked up a degree in Graphic Design and for the past decade I have been the art director for a small multi-media company, Riverfront Media DLB, headquartered in Peoria Illinois. These days I can work over the internet which gives me more time to paint.

Combining fine art with contemporary graphic design seems like a logical match yet they are often segregated with schools of ascetics on each side. What matters to me is to deliver a visual experience that can entertain and/or inform but always from a unique perspective.

I can be a team player but after twenty years of dedicated study into the science, history and philosophy of fine art and a decade of experience with Mac based graphic design, I have the experience to lead.
